FAQ

Common questions.

Availability, features, Free and Pro, and how your library data is handled.

Getting started

Where can I download QuestPace?

QuestPace is not publicly available yet. The App Store link will appear here when it is released.

What is QuestPace for?

QuestPace is an iPhone app for keeping track of your game library: what you want to play, what you are playing and what you have finished. You can record your progress, ratings and notes, set goals and find your next game.

Which devices does it support?

QuestPace requires an iPhone with iOS 26.2 or later.

Do I have to track my playtime?

No. Playtime tracking is optional. Your library, statuses, ratings, notes and goals are useful on their own. Insights that depend on recorded playtime need that data before they can show a result.

Free & Pro

Is there a free version?

Yes. The Free version has an unlimited game library, search, statuses, ratings, notes, manual goals and optional playtime tracking. Sync, backup, restore, diagnostics and deletion remain available in Free.

Is Pro a subscription?

No. Pro is a one-time in-app purchase. There is no subscription or trial. The price in your local currency is shown in the app before purchase.

What does Pro add?

Pro adds features including deeper insights and recaps, new game plans in Calendar and Reminders, additional themes, share cards and the Goal Pace widget. Managing existing plans and adding What’s On event reminders remain Free. The home page explains the main differences.

How do I restore Pro?

Use Restore Purchases in the app with the Apple Account used for the original purchase.

Your library & data

How does iCloud sync work?

QuestPace uses your private iCloud database to sync your library between devices using the same iCloud account. Sync depends on iCloud availability and may take time. It keeps your devices in step; it is not a separate backup.

Can I back up my library?

Yes. QuestPace can create JSON backups and export them to a location you choose. Keep an exported copy somewhere safe if you want a backup outside the app.

What happens when I restore a backup?

Restoring a backup replaces the current library contents. Export a backup of your current library first if you want to keep it. Device-specific Calendar and Reminders identifiers are not restored as links to existing items.

What does Delete All Data remove?

The app explains the deletion before you confirm. It removes the managed library and related app data, including its managed backups, and handles associated iCloud and app-owned Calendar/Reminders data. Copies of backups you exported, preferences and Pro ownership are preserved. Locally saved diagnostic reports can be managed separately.

Does QuestPace send diagnostics automatically?

Diagnostic reports are stored locally. You choose whether to share a report from the Diagnostics screen. The support form only submits the information you review and send.
